Prima Doll Stamp Gift Tag

I had fun making this gift tag.  I couldn't stop adding stuff as you can see.  It's a mixed media project with texture paste in the back ground in the form of little hearts.  Then I added a Prima Doll Stamp called Mia and designed by Julie Nutting.  I stamped her twice and coloured her with copics and the second stamping was made of contrasting paper whick became her dress.  I cut out her dress and layered it onto the original stamping.  The rest is just a silly amount of embellishments!

Here is the back which holds the envelope and note card.  I used a Sizzix die called Elegant Flourishes for the swirl embellishment and I used a Silhouette Cameo to cut the envelope and note card out.

Victorian Song Bird

I thought I would drag out my old Sizzix Bird and Cage die.  To me, it's a classic.  I haven't seen much done with it lately on any blogs or challenges and I kind of miss using it.  I went with the victorian theme.  Butterflies are just printed and cut out.  Head to Graphics Fairy for a nice selection of free graphics.

Kenny K Challenge Card Using Happy Hour Digi

I thought I would make one more easel card just so I get the hang of it.  This is a cute digi that I actually won in a Kenny K's Card Challenge a few weeks ago called Happy Hour.  The them this time is Fruity so I used fruity colours and a pair of pears on the card.  It was nice to get away from using fall colors and themes for this challenge.  As always, I enjoy the card challenges I participate in.

My First Easel Card Using Lazy Kitty Digi Stamp

I just finished this for the CDAC Progressive Challenge.  I've never made an easel card before and thought it was time.  It's definitely not as complicated as it looks.  I love this digi by priscillastyles.  The bow, flower and charm in the corner is on the inside of the card so when you open the card, it becomes the stopper so the card will stay in position.  The little sentiment in the corner is from Birds Digital Cards.  They have free digi's and cutting files.  I will definitely begin to make more of these since the recipient can display it easily if they want.

Oh Baby! Mo's Digital Challenge with Sumpin's Wrong Digi.

I've had this digi for a while now and I just adore it.  Having had all boys this is definitely a familiar sight!  So independent at such an early age!  The digi is from Mo's Digital Pencil and it's called Sumpin's Wrong.  I joined in on Mo's Digital Challenge this week for the first time.  The theme of their challenge is Buttons.  The paper I used is from Graphic 45.  They have very cool papers.  I haven't sewed a card in a while so I thought I'd incorporate it into this one.  As always, I have fun creating.

Friends Forever - Kenny K Card Challenge

Alright!  So I made it on time for another Kenny K Challenge.  I've had this digital stamp for a while now and I haven't had a chance to use it.  I love this one.  It's called Queens Cutie.  I sat her on a stone pillar which is a Magnolia rubber stamp that I have.  I'm glad I have this one since I end up using it a fair bit.
The paper is Daisy D's and its some older stock that I have but I love the purples, reds and yellows.  It reminds me of when our maple trees turn up north here in October.  I had a box of ephemera from K & Company and I was able to find some great little items to match like the corners and the border down the side and, oh yeah, the little butterfly!
Once again, fun fun fun!

Shabby Chic Card With A Sugar Nellie Digital Stamp

I love, love, love this digital stamp from Sugar Nellie.  I found this stamp when I ran across their challenge blog The Sugar Bowl.  So I decided to play along.  The theme is Shabby Chic.  Of course Prima Marketing helped me with their perfect shabby chic style flowers and I added lots of pearls and a heart button.  This was fun since once again a challenge blog has helped me create a new type of project.  Cheers!
